In cross country the year 8 had to do 5 laps.I found it hard because it was pretty far. I stopped running but than I carry on ,when it got to the mountain my legs were weak. I found it really hard. In cross I cam 4th in cross country.
I was a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I was in Learning Space 2 and my teachers were Mrs Anderson, and Ms Kirkpatrick.

kiwi can
Today group A went to kiwi can . For our warm up we played a game called objects e.g if you put a hula hoop in the middle you have to come up with a actions. When we were getting started we got into group.In kiwi can we took turns by going in the middle with a action by what should we do with a hula hoop , Me and nazllea came up with a car.I had lots of fun.

Princess Bride
In class we watched a movie called Princess Bride. We did a lot of activities and my favourite one is character Introduction document. I also learnt about the characters and how to recognise who is the antagonist and the protagonist in other movies. We completed many activities about the Opening Sequence, Character introduction, Fantasy Conventions, Shot types and Narrative theory.

Sacle dwaing
Last week we did Scale drawing, we did the enlargement and the grid. We had to make sure that we were copying the image onto the enlargement square. I chose Micky mouse because it look interesting and fun to draw.
Finding out about coalition ?
Today learning space 2 were focusing on Election result for 2017.Joshua,Mishaan,Viva, and I were finding out what is coalition?. We found out that coalition is like joining another bigger party and how they could affect the elections . Democracy
For this election activity, we had to make a flow chart about the democracy of New Zealand. In New Zealand we have the Queen on the top of the flow chart as well as the governor general as her representative.
Helen Clark
Helen Clark was one of the former Prime Ministers of New Zealand. She is now a valuable member of the United Nations. She has made New Zealand well recognized and have done great things in her time in parliament.
Parties
This week we have been working on election about who should be our prime minister. I worked with Mishaan, Mia Ofa and Zahra. I have added the leaders of the main party and what electorate they are in.

read an Ebook Day
It is currently e-book day (September 18th). LS2 has been reading E-books. Today we used the Tamaki College Overdrive to read our E-books. We read e-books today to celebrate modern storytelling. Kiwi Can taking risk
Today for kiwi Can session we played bip bop bounce for our warm up .when we were finished Mr malu and Miss latoua took us outside to play a game of hand soccer. as we got in to that we had to get into our group A and B , each group had to roll the ball to the goal to get a point as we were playing our groups were working has a team and taking risks.

Tamaki Collenge
The year 8 went to Tamaki College to experience to see what it's like when you are going to be in high school. I think I had a great time at tamaki college thank you to the year 9s for looking after us you have made our years 8s feel safe and where to go. My favourite subject for today at tamaki college was science because, i have learnt new skills.
